Is Packliste free?
Yes. Your first packing list is free forever. The assistant, a trip template, your own items and iCloud sync are included for that list. Premium is a one-time purchase, no subscription.
What belongs to Premium?
Premium is for every further trip: unlimited lists, assistant and templates for new lists, sharing lists (invited people do not need Premium), countdown, reminders, weather on existing lists, PDF export, widgets and Live Activity.
Do I need Apple Intelligence for the assistant?
No. The guided assistant works without Apple Intelligence too. On compatible devices running iOS 27 you can also describe your trip in a single sentence. The evaluation runs on the device.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no Packliste account and no sign-up. Your lists sit on your device and can be synchronized through iCloud.
What is the difference between sharing lists and Family Sharing?
When you share, several people pack from the same list. Apple Family Sharing shares the Premium purchase instead. A list is only used together once you share it explicitly.
What happens to my data?
Your lists stay on your device and in your iCloud account. Packliste shows no advertising and does no ad tracking. Usage data that is not tied to your identity can be switched off in the settings.
Can I share a packing list with others?
Yes. With Premium you share a list through iCloud. Invited people see the same items and can check things off together with you.
Does Packliste run on iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Packliste is built for iPhone and iPad. On the same iCloud account you can synchronize your lists on both devices.
Which trips have templates?
Packliste contains ten templates, among them camping, motorhome, caravan, beach, city trip, ski trip, festival, theme park, vacation rental and family vacation.
Can I use Packliste with Shortcuts or Siri?
Yes. You can ask for the packing status, open the active list, add items and mark things as packed. Control Center opens the next list directly.
Can I speak my trip?
Yes. On compatible devices running iOS 27 you dictate the trip description instead of typing it. The transcription and the evaluation both run on the device.
Do invited people need Premium as well?
No. You need Premium to share. Anyone who accepts a shared list packs along for free.
Can Packliste be used accessibly?
The controls are labeled for VoiceOver, and anyone who has reduced motion gets calmer transitions.
