Hosting of this website
This website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. The recipient of the connection data that is technically required for this is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When a page is opened, Cloudflare receives in particular the IP address, the time and the requested resource, in order to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare also processes data in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and provides EU standard contractual clauses for its services. Further details are set out in the Cloudflare data processing agreement.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and technical loading performance. For that, the beacon processes the path, the referrer host, country, device type, browser and measurements of loading performance, among other things. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to assess the use and the technical quality of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics uses neither cookies nor Local Storage or comparable client-side identifiers, and it does not create a fingerprint of individual visitors. According to Cloudflare, the source IP address that technically occurs with an HTTP connection is discarded at the nearest data center and is not stored in the central analytics database or in logs. Cloudflare keeps non-aggregated beacon data for seven days; after that it is aggregated. The Web Analytics area shows evaluations for the past six months. Cloudflare describes further specifics in its Web Analytics documentation.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set any cookies of its own and stores no data in Local Storage, Session Storage or IndexedDB. According to Cloudflare, the analytics beacon in use does not employ any such browser-side storage either. For the current configuration, no consent banner for analytics cookies is therefore shown. If we add services in future that require consent, they will only be loaded once you have given it.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the details you send us in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the details once the request has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention or documentation obligations stand in the way.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your name, your email address and the content of your message in order to answer your request. Web3Forms, a service by Web3Creative with servers in the USA, handles the delivery to our mailbox. Personal data may be transferred to the USA and processed in technical server logs in the process.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give before sending. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. We delete your details as soon as they are no longer needed to handle the request and no statutory retention or documentation obligations stand in the way. External links
The website contains links to the App Store, to Instagram and to press articles. Only when such a link is opened does the browser connect to the respective provider. That provider’s privacy information applies to its processing.
App Store links contain a campaign code that names the current page and the position of the link. For an explicitly supported utm_source value, that code is extended by a coarse source abbreviation. Neither the full referrer nor arbitrary URL parameters nor a user identifier are transmitted to Apple. The attribution applies only on the current entry page and is not stored in cookies or in browser storage.
The Packliste app
The app stores your lists on your device and, if you use synchronization, in your iCloud account at Apple. We run no servers of our own for your lists and have no access to them. The app shows no ads and runs no ad tracking. Usage data that is not linked to your identity, collected through TelemetryDeck, can be switched off in the settings.
Your rights
You have the right of access, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
