Understanding your result
Tent counts round up based on people and usable capacity. Personal items count per person. Shared gear is listed for coordination rather than assuming one stove works for any group size. In furnished accommodation, sleeping gear is only omitted if you confirm it is provided.
Five people with three usable sleeping places per tent need two tents. You also get five sleeping bags and mats when using your own tents. Coordinate cooking and cooling capacity based on your meal plans.

Frequently asked questions
How many tents does a group need?
Divide the number of people by usable sleeping capacity per tent and round up. Five people with three places per tent need at least two tents. Luggage and comfort can reduce usable capacity.
Which camping gear should we coordinate?
Agree on cooking equipment, cooling, a table, lighting and first aid supplies. Required capacity depends on your group and trip. Each person needs their own sleeping gear and water bottle.
Can I use this for glamping or rental accommodation?
Yes. Choose furnished accommodation and confirm sleeping equipment and other amenities. Unconfirmed gear stays on your planning list.
Can we check items off together in the app?
Yes, on iPhone and iPad using iCloud. The person sharing a list needs Premium; invited guests can pack for free. Individual items are not automatically assigned to people.
